Assessment readiness checker

Find the gaps in your cohort preparation and take away an action list.

Eight checks. A clearer action list.

This is a planning checklist, not a gateway decision or competence grade. Confirm every requirement in the applicable plan.

Your next preparation actions

8 checks still need confirmation. Completing this tool does not establish assessment eligibility.

  • Version confirmed
  • Route checked
  • Evidence mapped
  • Employer involved
  • Requirements checked
  • Adjustments discussed
  • Identity and technology ready
  • Dates and responsibilities clear

Private by design: entries are processed in this browser and are not sent to Avenor. Exports may contain what you type; use learner reference codes rather than personal or sensitive data.

How to use it

Start with a real planning task.

Use this before an internal gateway or readiness review to expose missing owners, evidence and arrangements without treating a checklist score as an eligibility decision.

  1. Work through each check with the people who own the source evidence.
  2. Leave an item open when it has not been verified; do not tick it to make the score look complete.
  3. Export the action list and replace generic wording with the exact requirements for the apprentice’s route.

Worked example

Reproduce the result.

Input
Confirm the first five checks and leave Adjustments discussed, Identity and technology ready, and Dates and responsibilities clear unchecked.
Output
The result panel shows 5/8 and lists those exact three checks as the remaining preparation actions; the CSV marks them Needs confirmation.

Interpretation and limits

Know what the output can support.

A complete checklist means the user marked every planning check. It does not prove gateway, competence, eligibility or acceptance by an assessment organisation.

Is eight out of eight a gateway decision?

No. The formal decision follows the applicable plan and the assessment organisation’s verified process.

Can we enter learner names?

Do not enter personal or sensitive information. Use internal reference codes in any exported action list.

What if the route has another requirement?

Add it to your controlled provider checklist. This tool is a starting point and never replaces the current assessment plan.
