01

Know the assessment that applies to you

Ask your provider for the exact standard, version, assessment plan and organisation’s instructions. Your apprenticeship may follow an existing end-point assessment route or a revised model. A friend on the same job title may have different requirements.

02

Prepare to explain your own decisions

Reflect on real work: the context, your contribution, why you chose an approach, what changed and what you would do differently. Our original practice questions help structure that reflection. They are not actual exam questions, official mocks or a guarantee of success.

03

Tell someone if you need support

Raise access needs as early as you can with your provider and assessment contact. Share only information needed to consider an arrangement. An adjustment supports access; it does not remove the competence being assessed.

04

Know your next step after a result

Read the feedback, clarify anything you do not understand and ask for the relevant review, resit, retake or appeal procedure. Do not assume all routes use the same deadlines, fees or grade caps. Keep the published instructions for your specific assessment.
