How to use it

Start with a real planning task.

Use this when comparing written supplier quotes at cohort level, especially where headline prices treat resits, cancellations or components differently.

Enter the cohort size and each supplier’s written per-apprentice assessment fee.
Add only expected resits and cancellations that the quote says would be charged.
Export the assumptions and check excluded items, VAT, travel, payment timing and version-specific scope separately.

Worked example

Reproduce the result.

Input: 20 apprentices at £1,500; three expected resits at £300; one cancellation at £100.
Output: Illustrative cohort cost: 20 × £1,500 + 3 × £300 + 1 × £100 = £31,000, before VAT, travel and any unentered costs.

Interpretation and limits

Know what the output can support.

The total is arithmetic over your entries, not an Avenor quote or recommendation. Compare scope, quality controls, capacity and terms alongside cost.

Are Avenor prices built in?

No. The fields start empty. Avenor publishes no invented fee schedule; use only written supplier figures.

Is the Meritura platform a separate provider charge?

No. Avenor pays the platform cost. Assessment fees and the agreed delivery scope remain separate commercial terms.

Does the total include every cost?

Only the values entered. Check VAT, travel, additional components, retakes, late changes and payment terms in the written quote.
